Sheriff's Department

* May 17, 8:20 p.m.: Marilyn Miller, 62, Rockville, was westbound on U.S. 36 in a 2004 Toyota when she hit a deer.

Damage was listed at $5,001-$10,000.

* May 21, 2:31 p.m.: Amber C. Litteral, 25, Paris, Ill., was westbound on I-70 in a 2003 Kia van. She tried to merge into the left lane, not noticing a 2008 GMC driven by Henry Dunnivan, 55, Terre Haute, striking it in the right front.

Dunnivan said he saw Litteral merging but could not avoid the collision.

* May 24, 8:24 a.m.: Terry F. Eastham, 52, Greencastle, was in a city parking lot in a 2010 Dodge Charger Greencastle Police car when he hit a utility pole.

Damage was listed at $2,501-$5,000.

City Police

One recent arrest was reported by Greencastle City Police.

Richard Romandine, 32, Greencastle, was arrested at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday on a Morgan County warrant.

He was taken into custody by Officer Nick Eastham at a North Indiana Street residence.
