Rotary welcomes two new members

The Rotary Club of Greencastle recently welcomed two new members.

Linda Hunter is property manager for Barnabas Properties, LLC. She and her husband Victor live at Airy Knob on the south side of Greencastle. She was sponsored by Rotarian P.T. Wilson, and joined Rotary "to learn, to serve and to meet dynamic people." Linda's interests are community development, gardening, travel antiques, hiking, biking and her family. She has four children, Jed, Drew, Matt and Holly.

Jon Coffin is director of strategic communications at DePauw University. He was sponsored by two Rotarians, David Bohmer and Jennifer Soster. Jon said his mother was a Rotarian, and that he joined the Rotary Club of Greencastle to "meet and interact with community leaders, while bringing folks together for service and general community engagement." Jon describes himself as "a bit of a political junky," and said he enjoys "golf, really good food and good conversation."

Rotary club members are business and professional leaders who volunteer in their communities and promote world peace and understanding. Rotary encourages high ethical standards and carries out humanitarian projects to address issues such as poverty, health, hunger, education and the environment. Rotary Club of Greencastle announces two new members.
