Library to host program on drying fruits and vegetables

The program "Drying Fruits, Vegetables and Herbs" is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 in the Kiwanis Room at the Putnam County Public Library, Greencastle.

Purdue Extension Ag Educator, Ann Delchambre will share tips and tricks for drying food from your garden's bounty.

The program will include information about dehydrators, sun drying and vine drying as well as tips on storage and uses of dried foods and a few of her favorite recipes.
