Beverley M. Sears

Beverley M. Sears, 77, Fillmore, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011.

She was born April 22, 1934 in Benton County to Chester A. Liptrap and Clarice G. Smith Liptrap and they preceded her in death.

Mrs. Sears was a graduate of Greencastle High School, a member of First Christian Church in Greencastle, D.A.R. and a former member of O.E.S. She was employed at Putnam County Hospital for 15 years as a nurse's aide.

Surviving are her husband John C. Sears; children John C. Sears Jr. of Greencastle, Rebecca "Becky" Sears of Greencastle and Charles Sears and wife Alison of Westfield; and six grandchildren, John J. Sears, Sarah Sears, Scott Sears, Megan Sears, Morgan Sears and Savanna Sears.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 14 at Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Champion officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
