Local Delta Theta Tau chapter represented at National Convention

The 103rd national convention of Delta Theta Tau sorority was held July 13-17 at the Amway Grand Plaza, Grand Rapids, Mich.

Delegates from 85 chapters were represented. Attending from Theta Chapter, Greencastle, were Nancy Andis and Joyce Paquin.

A combined total from all chapters donate to philanthropic projects during the past year amounted to $776,759.23. The members supported their communities with a total of 147,874 volunteer hours during the past year.

Delta Theta Tau, a National Philanthropic Sorority, was founded in 1903 in Muncie by five high school girls. The first national convention was held in 1908 in Elwood. The 104th national convention will be held July 11-15, 2012, at the Hilton Palacio del Rio, San Antonio.
