Mermon O. Sprinkle

Mermon O. Sprinkle, 72, of Cloverdale, passed away on Aug. 17, 2011 at the Putnam County Hospital, Greencastle, Indiana. She was born on April 7, 1939 at Applona, Perry County, Indiana and was the daughter of the late Thomas A. and Minnie E. (McGuines) Sprinkle.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Wilma E. Sprinkle, Judy A. Sprinkle and Mary E. "Betty" Raley and her brothers, Marion A. Sprinkle and Thurman E. Sprinkle.

She is survived by her brothers, James S. Sprinkle and wife Connie, Quincy, and Thomas Sprinkle and wife Bertha, Tell City.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2011 at 4 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2 p.m. until service time. Interment services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 1 p.m. at the Walker Cemetery, Branchville, Perry County.
