The Walmart Foundation recently presented a check for $2,250 to Tzouanakis Intermediate School. The grant was awarded in recognition for volunteerism, with $2,000 granted for the local Walmart Transportation's efforts in transporting and constructing the new playground equipment at Tzouanakis. This group of 24 Walmart Associates combined to give 155 hours in volunteerism at Tzouanakis. The extra $250 was donated for Matt Deckard's volunteerism of 25 hours.
