Robert L. Cummings Sr.

Robert L. Cummings Sr., 83, Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011.

He was born in Cloverdale on July 22, 1928.

Mr. Cummings drove a truck for Schwerman Trucking for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed playing poker with his many friends.

He will be extremely missed by his children and countless friends. "We love you, Dad!"

He had three sons, Tom of Cloverdale, Bob Jr. of Cunot and Brett of Cunot, and one daughter, Shelly of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lou in 2000.

A celebration of life is being held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6 at American Legion Post 281, Cloverdale.

The family is accepting donations in lieu of flowers at First National Bank in Cloverdale. Write "Bob Cummings Memorial Fund" in the memo line.

Professional service have been entrusted to Indiana Memorial and Cremation Center, Indianapolis.
