Donald Rex Craft

Donald Rex Craft, 83, Danville, passed away Sept 11, 2011 in Hendricks Regional Health.

Born July 10, 1928 in Spencer, Ind., he was the son of Willis C. and Esther McCullough Craft.

Don was an Air Force veteran of World War II.

He worked 15 years for Peerless Pump Co. Don was also the owner of Clark Filling Station and United Commercial Cleaning Services for several years.

He was a member of the Brownsburg American Legion, Groveland Masonic Lodge, Plainfield Fraternal Order of Eagles, VFW and was a former member of the Danville Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his daughters, Sherry (Larry) Waterman of Coatesville, and Teresa (William) Johnson of Brownsburg, a sister, Miriam (Walter) Krallman of Iowa; grandchildren Stacey Waterman, Kimberley (Matt) Cline, Brianne Campbell and Brandon Campbell; and great-grandchildren Jaden, Bailee and Brody Campbell.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with calling from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.
