Two recent traffic accidents were investigated by city officers:

Officer Darrel Bunten said the truck driver failed to see that a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, driven by Makenzie Kessler, 17, Greencastle, had turned south off Veterans Highway onto Bloomington Street and a collision occurred.

Total damage was estimated at $2,500-$5,000.

Kessler complained of pain to her mouth and jaw from deployment of the airbag. She was treated and released at the scene.

Minnex-Spiker complained of pain to his side but declined treatment at the scene.
