Children's yard sale raises money for A-Way Home

To the Editor:

Jessica, Sean, Grandma Nonnie Sue, and I would like to thank the generous folks who stopped at the children's yard sale.

Sean (age 9) and Jessica (age 12) had their yard sale to raise money for the A-Way Home Shelter, which closed its doors on Sept. 10, 2011 due to a lack of funds.

Thanks to the Banner Graphic for such a great yard sale ad. Thanks again to those who donated to the less fortunate in our community.
