Artist Studio Tour

Marj Peeler, a participant in the 2011 Artist Studio Tour, has been doing pottery for more than 50 years. She will have wood carvings, sun pottery and fabric work on display Saturday when Mental Health America of Putnam County hosts the Artist Studio Tour from 12-6 p.m. The event has a treasure-hunt format. When buying a ticket, participants will receive a map, which includes the locations of participating artists' studios. In addition to Peeler, local artists included are Marla Helton and Stu Fabe, Low Road Gallery, Lance Myers, Martha Opdahl, Jennifer Herrold and GC Galleria. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple and can be purchased at GC Galleria or the Mental Health America of Putnam County office. For information, persons may call 653-3310.
