Darla K. Rogers Capps

Darla K. (Rogers) Capps, 65, of Rockville, lost her battle with cancer Sept. 21, 2011 at Union Hospital.

She was born in Greencastle, the daughter of Raymond and Freda (Tincher) Rodgers.

Mrs. Capps was a retired clerk from the Bellmore Country Store in Bellmore.

She is survived by children David (Nancy) Galloway of Rockville, Marla (David) Fields of Jasonville, and Michelle (Bradley) Wells of Staunton; brother Larry (Linda) Rogers of Greencastle; sister Joyce Rogers of Virginia; companion Lloyd Richardson of Rockville, 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Teresa Galloway, grandson Chase Galloway and sister Rita Kelley.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle with Rev. Ernie Phillips officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Simple Cremations and Burials of Clinton.
