Friday, October 14, 2011

On Monday, Oct. 17 the Putnam County Public Library will host the second in a series of webinars, "Start, Manage, Grow! How Businesses Can Use ReferenceUSA."

The webinar will begin at 3:30 p.m.

During the one-hour session entrepreneurs and business owners will learn how to take advantage of ReferenceUSA's database to succeed in business.

Attendees will learn how to research prospective clients, locate local and national vendors, and network with industry partners.

The webinar will also cover how to understand community demographics, conduct competitive analysis and find possible investors.

The database offers the most accurate information on U.S. businesses and households, enabling users to conduct research more efficiently than ever. Unlike using Yellow Pages or Google, ReferenceUSA is designed to be a market-research tool, compiling and constantly updating data from numerous trusted sources.

The free webinar series will be held in the Kiwanis Room of the Putnam County Public Library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle.

Those interested can register by contacting the Reference Desk at 653-2755, ex 115 or 124. People are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early as the webinars begin promptly at the scheduled times.
