Gobble-uns weekend scheduled at Lieber

Lieber State Recreation Area will host a "gobble-uns" weekend Saturday and Sunday, Oct.22-23.

All activities will be held at the campground entrance starting at 10 a.m.

Saturday's activities run from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and include hayrides and pumpkin decorating; both are $1 each unless participants bring their own pumpkin. There will also be leaf printing T-shirt, for which participants should bring their own shirt, decorating a trick-or-treat bag, Halloween crafts, as well as a campsite decorating contest.

Sunday's activities run from 10 a.m.-noon and include hayrides and a hillbilly golf tournament.

The cost of admission to the park is $5 for all Indiana vehicles and $7 for all out-of-state vehicles.
