Beve E. Coffman

Mr. Beve E. Coffman, 81, Cloverdale, passed away on Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at the Indiana University Medical Center.

Born May 22, 1930 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Grover G. and Lena (Hazelrigg) Coffman. He was a United States Army veteran having served during World War II.

Beve had worked as a truck driver for 28 years with Andersen Motor Freight and Yellow Freight and previously worked 19 years with Bryant Manufacturing, retiring in 1986.

He is survived by three daughters, Linda Simpson of Plainfield, Beverly "Buffie" (Lyle) Rolison of Poland and Vicky (Dillard) Crabtree of Indianapolis; two stepsons, Rex Coleman Cox and Raymond L. Cox of Quincy; 12 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Coffman.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Alan Small officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. on Thursday until time of service.
