Bridgeton Country Christmas celebration under way

BRIDGETON -- Bridgeton is hosting its annual Country Christmas celebration starting this weekend.

Dates are Nov. 25-27 and Dec. 2-4 in the Parke County community.

The shops will be open and full of gifts. Vendors will be in the 1878 Barn, Collom's General Store and the North Pole Barn

Children can visit Santa in the 1822 Case log cabin both Saturdays and Sundays from 1-3 p.m.

A chicken and noodles dinner or other food choices will be available.

Visitors can take a horse and carriage ride through the historic district and stroll through the Bridgeton Covered Bridge.

Bridgeton is located nine miles south of Rockville, accessible via State Road 59 north from Brazil to the Bridgeton highway sign.
