Second Ward city meeting Thursday at Deer Meadow

Residents of Greencastle's Second Ward are invited to attend the annual ward meeting to be conducted at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8 at Deer Meadow Primary School.

Mayor Sue Murray and Second Ward Councilman Mark Hammer invite constituents to share their suggestions and concerns about Greencastle's Second Ward as well as any general community issues.

The Neighborhood Crime Watch Program will be discussed by Greencastle Police Chief Tom Sutherlin at the beginning of the meeting.

Although this is mainly a forum for Second Ward residents, all local citizens are welcome to attend.

Back in early October, an earlier ward meeting was conducted for Third Ward residents.

No dates have yet been set for First and Fourth Ward city meetings.
