Jack Boswell Country Gospel band going to Nashville

The Jack Boswell Country Gospel Band consists of Jack Boswell, Mark Boswell, Pat Pittman Jarvis, Jim Allison and Sebern Campbell. The band will soon be traveling to Nashville and will be featured on an upcoming episode of "Shotgun Red Variety Show," on the RFD Network.

The long-standing music ministry of Jack Boswell Country Gospel band has been noticed in Nashville, Tenn.

The group has been invited to appear on an upcoming episode of the "Shotgun Red Variety Show," aired weekly on the RFD Network.

The band was chosen as one of the 78 acts among 2,500 applicants. They will depart for Nashville on Jan. 8, 2012 and will tape their segment before a live studio audience on Monday, Jan. 9, within the General Jackson Ballroom, located on the famed General Jackson Riverboat in Nashville.

"The Shotgun Red Variety Show" currently airs on Monday evenings, with previous episodes re-aired on Fridays and Sundays. The band will be featured on the show various times throughout the year.

Jack Boswell, largely recognized by his cross-handed piano playing, and his country music band performed throughout the Midwest for many years. They have shared a stage with 18 artists who have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.

After retiring in 1983, Boswell devoted his musical talents to the creation of a faith-based music ministry that has allowed his band to perform in hundreds of churches throughout Indiana.

Band members that accompany Boswell include vocalist Pat Pittman Jarvis of Brazil, lead guitarist Sebern Campbell of Eminence, bass guitarist Jim Allison of Paragon and drummer Mark Boswell of Brownsburg.
