Cloverdale United Methodist Church to host Smart Choice Food Ministry

Cloverdale United Methodist Church, located at 364 W. Robert Weist Ave., Cloverdale, is host church for a new ministry Smart Choice Food Ministry. This new ministry has replaced Angel Food.

The main food is slightly lower than Angel Food. The main box of food, called The Smart Box is $35 and contains over 15 pounds of protein. The Senior Meal Box is $25 and contains seven complete meals geared toward seniors. All that is needed is an eight-ounce glass of milk to have a complete and well-balanced meal.

There are four special boxes also. You do need to order either a Smart Box or Senior Meal Box in order to be able to purchase a Value Box.

There is no limit as to the quantities that can be ordered.

At this time, the church is excepting cash, check or money orders. The church is also in the process of waiting for its FSN number, which will allow them to take food stamp order, sometime in January.

Orders will be taken at the church on Saturday, Jan. 7 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., and again on Monday, Jan. 9 from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. Orders can also be mailed, along with payment, to CUMC, 109 Autumn Glen N. Drive, Greencastle, IN 46135. Checks and money orders should be made out to CUMC.
