PCYSA holding free skills camp

GREENCASTLE -- The PCYSA is holding a free soccer skills clinic Sunday, Jan. 22 at the DePauw Indoor Tennis and Track Center. The event will run from 3 to 5 p.m.

Members of both the men's and women's DePauw soccer teams will be on hand to help young players with skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting and goalkeeping.

Children born between June 1, 1997 and Dec. 31, 2008 are eligible for the clinic. Registration will be as follows:

* U6 (6/1/06-12/31/08) -- 2:30 p.m.

* U8 (6/1/04-5/31/06) -- 3:30 p.m.

* U10 (12/1/01-5/31/04) -- 3:30 p.m.

* U14 (6/1/97-11/30/01) -- 2:30 p.m.

The clinic will be indoors and participants should wear shinguards, long socks over the shinguards and tennis shoes. No cleats or jewelry. If a player has a soccer ball, it's requested you bring it and have it clearly marked with the player's name.
