Mary F. Mattingly

Mary F. Mattingly, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.

She was born Dec. 1, 1921 in Greencastle to the late Charles and Zella (Crabbe) Bergen.

She married Garland J. Mattingly on Nov. 27, 1947, and he preceded her in death April 29, 1993.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Cynthia Flohr, Nancy Sciscoe, Garland J. Mattingly II (Becky) and Jayne Marie Mattingly; a brother, John Bergen and wife Barbara, Greencastle; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Rebecca Ann Midkiff; one brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Visitation will be conducted after 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
