Alfred S. Losin, age 90, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012.

Mr. Losin was a staff sergeant in the United States Army, serving his country for 37 months in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

He had retired from IBM Corp. in 1987, having more than 25 years of service.

He was a 50-year member of the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

His wife of more than 65 years, Florence Losin, survives.

Also surviving are five sons and daughter-in-laws; a daughter and son-in-law; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Kevin Losin; and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 20 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. on Monday until time of services.

Interment with military rites will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory to the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 202 E. Washington St. Greencastle, IN 46135.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle.
