James "Bubba" Yack

James "Bubba" Yack, 52, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at his residence in Roachdale.

He was born May 18, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Stuart and Virginia Hahn Yack.

He graduated from Beaverton High School near Grand Rapids in 1977.

He married Kristy Wendling on July 10, 1999 in Roachdale.

He was an outside plant manager for TDS Telecom.

He was a member of the Roachdale Christian Church and the Eagles Lodge 4388 at Greencastle.

He is survived by his wife, Kristy of Roachdale; a sister, Judy Quinn of Riverside, Calif.; stepchildren Tiffany and Jeff Mitchell, Jesse Barker and April Mullins, all of Roachdale; and grandchildren Morgan, Haley, Kirtlyn, Dylan, Summer, Preston and Daelynn.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb.24 at the Roachdale Christian Church, 1 N. Walnut St.

Funeral services will be conducted at the church at 2 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Mick Buchanan officiating.

Burial will be in the Roachdale Cemetery.
