GPD to conduct Hunter Education Class at fairgrounds in mid-March

The Greencastle Police Department will be hosting a Hunter Education Class over three upcoming dates in March.

The class will be conducted on Tuesday, March 13 from 6-9 p.m., on Thursday, March 15 from 6-9 p.m., and on Saturday, March 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Those taking the class must attend all three secessions, which will be conducted in the Community Building at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

Anyone who is interested in attending the Hunter Education Class may call the Greencastle Police Department at 653-2925 and register.

Anyone born after Dec. 31, 1986 must complete a Hunter Education Class in order to purchase a hunting license in the state of Indiana.
