Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Robe-Ann Park set for Saturday

The annual community Easter Egg Hunt at Robe-Ann Park in Greencastle is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31.

Some 7,000 plastic eggs will be available for hunting by children age 1-11.

The egg hunt is sponsored by McDonald's, Burger King, Headley Hardware, Wendy's, Long John Silver's, Monical's Pizza, Carpenter Realtors, Wal-Mart, Kroger, Treasures on the Square, WREB radio and Friends of the Park Association of Putnam County.

Youngsters ages 1-11 can hunt in designated spots specific to their age group and find prize/candy-filled Easter eggs. Admission is free.

Children also will have a chance to win prizes, including a new bicycle, by redeeming tickets found in various eggs.

The Easter Bunny is expected to make an appearance at the event.
