GMS gets win over North Putnam

The Greencastle Middle School girls' track team defeated North Putnam 90-19 Thursday.

The Tiger Cubs posted 10 individual wins as well as winning both relay races.

Corrine Romer and Kat King both win multiple events on the night. Romer won the long jump with a distance of 12-4.5 and the 400 in a time of 1:12.

King won the 100-meter dash in a time of 13 seconds and the 200-meter dash in a time of 29 seconds. Hannah Brattain placed first in the 800-meter hurdles with a time of 2:58.

Gracie Smith won the 2,400-meter run in a time of 10:21, with Katie Haynes winning the 1,600-meter run in a time of 6:46. Bailey Zapp won the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 18 seconds.

Allison White won the high jump with a jump of 4-7 and Amelia Smith won the discus with a distance of 70-8.

The 400-meter relay won with a time of :58 and the 1,600-meter relay won with a time of 5:05.
