Two airlifted after W. Walnut crash
Monday, April 16, 2012
A husband and wife were airlifted following a Sunday evening accident on West Walnut Street.
At approximately 5 p.m., Walter Nash was exiting his driveway at 3081 W. County Road 100 South (West Walnut). He noticed a car approaching on the road, but did not notice the scooter behind the car.
After letting the car pass, Nash's vehicle collided with a scooter occupied by Bob and Linda Brown.
Capt. Danny Wallace of the Putnam County Sheriff's Department said Bob Brown had at least a broken leg, while Linda Brown was complaining of hip pain.
Details were limited on Sunday evening, but the story will be updated Monday when more information becomes available.
