Greencastle Parks Dept. sponsoring Pet Care Workshop on May 8

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Greencastle Animal Medical Clinic, is sponsoring a Pet Care Workshop on Tuesday, May 8.

The 5-7 p.m. program at Greencastle Animal Medical Clinic, 915 N. Jackson St., is designed for area youth, ages 10-18.

The evening class will focus on caring for their pet(s), how to be a responsible pet owner and to enjoy their pet(s) even more.

The program will meet requirements for the Boy Scout Pets and Veterinary Medicine merit badges. Take-home information will be provided.

The program will not require bringing a pet. Cost is $15 per person.

Pre-registration is required and a minimum of five participants must be pre-registered to hold the event.
