Spaghetti dinner to raise funds for Summerfest

ROACHDALE -- A spaghetti dinner fundraiser for Roachdale Summerfest is set for 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 4 at the former Optimist Club Building.

Cost is $7 per person and includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and dessert.

The 2012 Roachdale Summerfest, home of the famous "Roach Race" is set for June 23 and 24. The event will include vendor booths, entertainment, a 5K run/walk, car show, pedal tractor pull, pet parade, cornhole tournament, a kid's area, a parade, Little Miss and Mister Contest and, of course, the roach race.
