Thomas Scott Alexander

Thomas Scott Alexander, 70, of Roachdale passed away at his residence Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012.

He graduated from North Putnam High School. He retired as assistant pressmen at RR Donnelley at Crawfordsville.

He was in the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.

He married Jerry Paulette Morphew on March 5, 1967, and she preceded him in death on May 19, 2007.

Survivors include a son, Jerry Alexander of New Maysville.

He also helped raise nieces Frankie Shelton of Roachdale, Sarah Stapert of Greencastle and Cindy Alexander of Ladoga, and nephews Chris Alexander of Roachdale and Harry Alexander of Ladoga.

Also surviving are a stepbrother, Ray Singleton, and half-sister Pearl Duncan of Roachdale.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington St., Roachdale. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be at Roachdale Cemetery where military honors will be given. Rev. James Paino will officiate.
