Joann Capps

Joann Capps, 72, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Cloverdale, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012.

She was born March 11, 1939 to Clarence and Thekla Sobolik in Larimore, N.D.

She met her husband of 50 years Phil Capps when he was in the Air Force.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Joann is survived by husband Phil Capps; sons Mike Capps and wife Patty and Jeff Capps and wife Nancy, stepson Phil Capps and wife Lynda, brother Dennis Sobolik and wife Sue, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

An Indiana Memorial Service is being held for her at Eastside Christian Church, 400 E. Church St., Brazil, on Saturday, June 2 from 1-3 p.m.

The family requests no flowers or donations.
