Extension Club to meet Saturday

Friday, July 6, 2012

Common Threads, the new Purdue Extension Club, is having an open meeting on Saturday, July 7 at the Kiwanis Room of the Putnam County Library at 10:30 a.m.

There will be a brief discussion in which the club chooses upcoming lessons and shares "baby blanket" ideas.

The club is open to anyone who has a craft or art they enjoy (or want to learn) that uses some kind of threat -- crochet, cross stitch, embroidery, knit, weaving, etc.

Common Threads meets on the first Saturday of each month and offeres participants a chance to make new friends while learning, improving and teaching a new skill.

Guests are welcome to share their current projects.

For more information call Shelly at the Extension Club office, (765) 653-8411.
