Discussion slated on resource concerns in Putnam County

Saturday, July 14, 2012

In an effort to utilize financial and technical resources in the best way possible, the Putnam County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service are planning a public forum on Thursday, July 19, beginning at 10 a.m.

The meeting will be conducted at the Putnam County SWCD Office.

The organizations are looking at consolidating efforts to collect information from Putnam County residents on what resource concerns they have, issues that may need to be addressed, and/or areas that could be improved or enhanced.

Anyone who cannot attend the meeting but would like to participate may stop by the office and pick up material to complete prior to the meeting.

To ensure that there are enough meeting materials, persons are asked to RSVP by July 17 by calling 653-5716, ext. 3 for a reservation.
