Lawrance J. 'Larry' Myers Sr.

Lawrance J. "Larry" Myers Sr., 52, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2012.

He was born on March 2, 1960 in El Paso, Texas, to Paul R. Myers and Theresa L. Campos Myers.

Larry served his country in the U.S. Army, and had been employed at Heartland Automotive and Lear Corp.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Maria "Maggie" Campbell.

Surviving are two children, Larry Myers Jr. and wife Alison of Ft. Bragg, N.C., and Courtney T. Myers of Cloverdale; his mother, Theresa L. Myers; a sister, Rose Wainman and husband Dr. Perry of Greencastle; three brothers, Gilbert Gillison of Indianapolis, Paul R. Myers Jr. and wife Buffy of Greencastle, William A. Myers and wife Michelle of Wheeling, W. Va.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 28 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Rev. Kelzo "Buck" Martin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home.
