Betty Alderfer Earl

Betty Alderfer Earl, 87, died Friday, July 20, 2012 in Bonita Springs, Florida. Formerly of Greencastle, Betty had resided in Florida for the last 24 years.

She was born in Elkhart County, Ind., and graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend.

Betty enjoyed traveling, playing cards and shoe shopping.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda York of Bonita Springs and Bonnie (Tom) Michel of Auburn, N.Y., stepdaughter Linda Walsh of Bloomington and granddaughter Jennifer (Peter) Andrzejewski of Hamburg, N.Y.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 1-3 p.m. at Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Betty's name may be made to the charity of your choice.
