A Purple and Gray Day

Sydney Secrest (16) and Rosio Gomez battle for possession in a pre-season Purple and Gray scrimmage of the GHS girls soccer team on Saturday. The Gray team prevailed 1-0 on a strike from junior Melody White in the 61st minute. The Lady Tiger Cubs travel to Edgewood to open their season with scrimmages versus Sullivan and Edgewood on Saturday and will host their first home match versus Tri-West on Tuesday Aug. 14.
