Cloverdale Church of the Nazarene to welcome Wilkersons for revival

Cloverdale Church of the Nazarene will be hosting a weekend revival on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 18 and 19 with Bob and Jennifer Wilkerson.

On Saturday at 5 p.m., the church will be sponsoring a cookout and concert. The Wilkersons will be returning to the church again on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m.

Dr. Bob and Jennifer Wilkerson have spent their lives in ministry. Both grew up in a parsonage and were ministering at very early ages.

Bob spent many years in full time evangelism and also pastoring. He has been a church planter, songwriter and ministered overseas. He is also the executive director of Musicic City Mission.

In August 2011, Bob was awarded his Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Holy Trinity Seminary.

Jennifer, a talented and anointed vocalist in her own right, has served as a worship leader, soloist, background vocalist, has filled in for several southern gospel music groups and also worked for Zion Music Group.

She works alongside Bob at Music City Mission and handles the public relations and much of the administrative duties.

The community is invited to join the church every week as well as on Aug. 18 and 19 for these worship services.

The Cloverdale Church of the Nazarene hosts a wide variety of services for all age groups. They offer Sunday School classes for all age groups at 9:45 a.m. followed by Sunday Morning Worship at 10:30. Sunday Evening Service is held at 6 p.m.

Every Wednesday they offer an adult Bible study, a children's program for kids up to the age of 12, and the Teen Group for young people 12 and up beginning at 7 p.m.
