Test drives can earn money for Central Elementary, Deer Meadow

Two upcoming local Drive for the Kids fundraiser events, sponsored by York Automotive, are scheduled to help raise money for Putnam County schools.

Any licensed driver, age 18 or over, can earn $10 for their school by taking a test drive in the Chrysler's award-winning 2012 Chrysler Town & Country minivan.

On Tuesday, Aug. 21, York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Inc. will join with parents and teachers for a Drive for the Kids fundraiser in support of Central Elementary School.

Central Elementary School "Family Jamboree" attendees can earn a $10 donation for the school just by taking a short test drive. Test drives will take place at the Central event from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Aug. 24, York Chrysler Dodge Jeep Inc. will join with parents and teachers for a Drive for the Kids fundraiser in support of Deer Meadow Primary School in Greencastle.

Test drives will take place at the Deer Meadow picnic event from 4:30-7:30 p.m.
