The ramp work will begin today and continue through early next week.

The closures will allow for the milling and resurfacing of the two eastbound ramps. Each ramp will be closed twice. Crews plan the following schedule of closures:

* Eastbound I-70 off ramp to U.S. 231, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22 through 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug 25

* U.S. 231 ramp onto eastbound I-70, 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 through 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24 and 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25 through 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27

Work on the westbound ramps will take place at a later date.

This project on I-70 will resurface the interstate from U.S. 231 to Little Point. The job was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction for $10.49 million.
