Distracted Driving Program coming to Greencastle

Monday, August 27, 2012

Ivy Tech Community College will be hosting the Distracted Driving Progam, a six-hour, high-impact, anti-texting/distracted driving program on Thursday, Aug. 30 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Distracted driving kills or injures thousands each year.

The multimedia event features "no holds barred" video presentations and two unique, multi-million dollar texting and driving simulation experiences.

An actual casket will be displayed to provide a permanent reminder of the life-changing impact of distracted driving.

The Distracted Driving Program is a division of the National Save a Life Tour, which has been endorsed by high schools and colleges all across the country and by the United States Navy, Marines, Air Force and Army, along with numerous insurance companies and hospitals nationwide.
