Restoration work on the facades along the historic Courthouse Square in Greencastle continues on a number of fronts, the latest being the corner of Indiana and Washington, where crews removed the layer of concrete from atop the brick on the east wall of the building. That historic structure, which now houses Lynda Dunbar's Downtown Deli (formerly Treasures on the Square), was once home to pharmaceutical great Eli Lilly's first drugstore.

Meanwhile, just across Indiana Street, work continues on the new DePauw University bookstore --- to be known as Eli's Books in honor of Col. Lilly, an Asbury College (pre-DePauw) graduate --- and the Starbucks café within it. Note the ubiquitous Starbucks logo now hanging above the sidewalk and the lettering across the front of the renovated former Prevo's store.
