TERRE HAUTE -- The Business Engagement Center at Indiana State University is partnering with the West Central Indiana Small Business Development Center at Indiana State to host a workshop on "How to do Business with ISU and the Government."

The workshop will take place 1-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 on ISU's campus in newly remodeled Federal Hall.

Speakers include representatives from the Indiana Department of Administration, Indiana State University, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Crane Division.

The workshop will cover topics regarding federal, state and university procurement processes, how to bid on state and federal contracts and what a company needs to do to prepare for government contracting.

"Assisting companies that have an interest in learning more about state, local and federal contracting opportunities is one way ISU and the SBDC can support our Indiana businesses and help grow the local economy," said Chris Pfaff, director of business engagement at ISU.

The workshop is free, but seating is limited.
