Hoosier Lottery to visit two local stations

Thursday, September 13, 2012

Hoosier Lottery players will be doing more than scratching off or watching numbered ping pong balls on Friday at two Greencastle gas stations.

Customers at the Greencastle Mini Mart Phillips 66 and the Jackson Street Marathon will have a chance to spin the Hoosier Lottery wheel for a chance at prizes and lottery tickets.

The wheel will be set up at the Phillips 66, 701 N. Jackson St., from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

The action will move to the Marathon, 405 N. Jackson St., from 3-5 p.m.

A $5 purchase is required to spin the wheel, and participants must be at least 18 years old. There is no limit on the number of spins that can be purchased.

Owner of both stations, Bajwa, said he is happy to bring this fun to his two stations. He also said that during the two-hour sessions, anyone may come to the stations and get a free fountain drink up to 24 ounces.
