Annual Beech Grove dinner, bazaar slated for Sept. 28

Beech Grove United Methodist Church members Margaret Nield, Helen Knauer, Susie Hood and Linda Mundy display several items available at the church's annual bazaar. The chicken and noodle dinner and bazaar is scheduled Friday evening at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

The Beech Grove United Methodist Church will host its 54th annual supper and bazaar on Friday, Sept. 28 at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building.

The chicken and noodle dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Dinner will also include lots of sides, salads, pies, cakes and other desserts.

Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children and children under four years old for free.

The bazaar auction begins at 6:30 p.m. with Max and Boyd Pickel auctioneers.

Auction items will include a prized quilt, rugs, pillows, comforters, a baby quilt, crocheted articles and many other handmade items.
