BRANDON ALLEN of Greencastle, formerly of Poland, completed the GED Plus program at Camp Robinson, Little Rock, Ark., on July 27. On Oct. 12, he graduated from basic combat training at Fort Sill, Okla.

Pvt. Allen is now continuing at Fort Sill for his advanced individual training as a cannon crewmember.

Indiana native CHRISTINE BARGER, the granddaughter of Margaret Killingbeck of Greencastle, was never a bully in high school, but she will be guest starring as one this evening on the quirky Nickelodeon show iCarly.

The episode "iRescue Carly" airs today at 8 p.m.

"I'm so excited to have played such a fun role on a really great show with a wonderful cast and crew!" said Barger, daughter of Robert & Franna Barger of Winamac.

She admitted, "It is a bit weird to play a teenager, especially with a cast of actual teens...but I'm glad I still look young."

Barger graduated from North Judson-San Pierre High School in 1998. She then majored in theatre at Ball State University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of acting in TV and film.
