Paul Franklin Fidler

Paul Franklin Fidler, 80, Cloverdale, went to be with Our Heavenly Father on Nov. 22, 2012 at The Waters of Greencastle.

He was born Nov. 20, 1932 in Eminence, and was the son of the late William Chesley and Ivy Beryl (Murphy) Fidler.

He was married to Juanetta Lavonne (Sutherlin) Fidler on Nov. 15, 1952, and she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Angela Joy Hiigel and husband Scott, Greencastle, and Larry G. Fidler and wife Donna, Cloverdale; his sister, Martha Fluke and husband William, Mooresville; and his grandchildren, Michael Fidler and wife Jessica, Greencastle, Andrew Fidler and wife Olivia, Franklin, Emma Hiigel, Greencastle and Coby Hiigel, Greencastle.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, James Fidler and Elmer Fidler.

He was a member of the Cloverdale Church of the Nazarene.

He was a retired plumber foreman for the Indiana Department of Correction at the Plainfield Juvenile Correctional Facility.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during Korea.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Cloverdale Cemetery.
