Donations sought for Mill Pond 5K run

The Mill Pond Health Campus will be hosting a 5K Run for the Red Jingle Run on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. All proceeds will go toward the American Red Cross.

Mill Pond is currently looking for donations to give as prizes. There will be a first and second place in each age group, which are 12 and under, 13-18, 18-54 and 55 and over. There will also be a silent auction the day of the event.

The Health Campus is looking for some larger prizes such as tickets and prizes worth $100 or more for the first place winners and silent auction. Smaller items such as gift cards or prizes of $25-$50 are needed for second place.

Following the run will be a lunch provided by Mill Pond for all participants and sponsors. Mill Pond will display any banners or signs of sponsors in appreciation of a donation.

All donations and silent auction gifts should be wrapped and delivered by Monday, Dec. 3. Donations already turned in include, a $500 gift certificate for A Cut Above Construction, lower level tickets to the Pacers, gift pack from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a night's stay and dinner from Final Approach Hotel and more.
