County Jail

Two people have been booked into the Putnam County Jail recently.

* On Tuesday, Dec. 4 at 12:20 p.m. Ashley Nicole Osborne, 31, Cloverdale, was arrested for failure to appear in court, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

At 5:45 p.m. Nicholas Perry Burdine, 27, Roachdale, was lodged at the jail for theft and probation violation.

City Police

A 25-year-old Greencastle man is facing burglary charges following his arrest late Tuesday at the City Police Department.

Guy Houston Parrish was arrested by Det. Michael Collins at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday after being picked up and questioned about a Nov. 27 burglary at an Albin Pond Road residence.

Parrish was lodged in the Putnam County Jail on burglary charges. The case remains under investigation.

Officer Darrel Bunten responded to the home initially to investigate the burglary report.

Among the items reportedly taken were four watches, a gold chain, rings, two sets of diamond earrings, a couple of purses, a jewelry box, golf shoes and miscellaneous coins and other jewelry.

No estimate of the value of the stolen items was available.

One additional arrest was reported by city officers.

-- At 6:52 p.m. Tuesday, Brandon Paul Prosser, 18, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Matt Huffman on a Hendricks County warrant for failure to appear in court.

Arrested at a Castlebury Apartments address, Prosser was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

Two recent traffic citations were issued by GPD Officer Nick Eastham.

-- At 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, Hannah Jordan, 20, Center Point, was cited on Bloomington Street for having a false or fictitious registration.

-- At 4:18 a.m. Tuesday, Ephraim Slab, 20, Bowling Green, was ticketed by Officer Eastham on Bloomington Street for 51 mph in a 30-mh zone.
