MICHIGANTOWN -- The North Putnam swimming and diving teams traveled to Clinton Central on Saturday for the Clinton Central Invitational.

The Cougars' boys team led for most of the day only to be edged out in the 400 freestyle relay and wind up second of six teams.

Dane Gray had wins in the 200 individual medley and 100 backstroke and Nick Kaufman won the 1-meter diving.

The girls' team was once again the smallest in attendance but fought hard.

Lyndsay Roberts, Rebecca Muse and Samantha Freije each posted personal record times.

The Cougars are back in action Thursday at Greencastle.
